The most sophisticated datacenters in the world are housed with Terremark Int'l. The one pictured here is the south Florida co-location facility. The Terremark network backbone consists of over 160 tier-1 connection points, ensuring 100% network availability. Uptime for this facility has been crucial, as the Federal Governerment now hosts many of it's internal applications, as well as a large amount of the ".gov" web content. Many state and local municipalities are jumping on the "hosted" solution in their increasing budget-cutting battles. Over the next 5 years, it is estimated that over half of small to mid-sized businesses will take advantage of the cost savings offered by managed hosting providers.
